1989 BMW e30 M3 w/ 70k miles for sale on Roadfly
UPDATE 11.29.07: This link hasn’t been active for a while. Check out other European vehicles for sale on my blog.
1989 M3, silver over gray with 70k miles. 2nd owner since 2001 with no accidents and clean title. Mechanically strong with most of the service records. All original body panels, original paint except for front bumper and rear wing. Tasteful mods include Mille Miglia wheels with Kuhmo Ecstas, Zimmerman cross drilled rotors with Hawk HP plus pads, stainless steel brake lines w/super blue, Supersprint center section w/Borla exhaust, Bilstien shocks w/H&R sport springs, front & rear Sparco strut braces, UUC short shift & clutch stop, Jim Conforti chip w/ Evo air box, E36 chain tensioner, oil pan baffle, Viper alarm & keyless entry, Alpine stereo w/eclipse amp & Sony sub. I have most of the stock parts that have been upgraded if wanting to return to original state. Overall a very clean and reliable car.
If this car is in fact rust free, with records, and 70k miles… Well somebody in the midwest should get busy and head over to Illinois and grab this great buy. Not many e30 M3’s with this kind of mileage available for any less these days.
Edit: Does the paint color seem off between the back of the door and the back of the car?

If you’re a Porsche 944 enthusiast, the limited edition Turbo S in Silver Rose is at the top of your wishlist. With all the goodies from the 944 Turbo Cup car, the Turbo S is already a special car. Even though only 1000 were manufactured in 1988, the original production run of 339 cars in Silver Rose are now highly sought after as they were true to the original formula for the ‘S’ designation: No sunroof, A/C, or power options. And even fewer owners opted for the gaudy Turbo decal on the right front fender. And check out that bitchin plaid interior!
Few remain and this one has to be the best of the bunch with only 1400 original miles!

eBay auction for 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S ‘Silver Rose’
Opening bids to start at $35k, no bids yet. Heaven only knows what this is really worth as 944 Turbos trade hands anywhere from $12k to low 20’s depending on condition, mileage, and records. The sale price of this car in 1988 had to be over $50k. Considering it’s practically brand new, maybe $40k isn’t too unreasonable. Maybe higher?

Here’s a couple of reviews on the uber-expensive and rare Bimota SB6 at Bimota Enthusiasts.
This really is a rare opportunity to attain one of these for any price, let alone under $10k. I think I’ve only seen two personally — and neither was for sale

Portland Craigslist 1962 Austin Healey Sprite For Sale $3450
Collector’s special! This car is so cute but needs a real enthusiast because it has sat in my garage for too long! The car runs and recently had all new brakes, master cylinder, carpet kit, battery etc. Lots of extra parts too including roll bar and extra door. This car has the old bolt on windows which need some work and will need a new soft top. All the extra parts are included in the price. Call Bruce @ 931 9112 or Cathy @ 921 8509 (cell).
UPDATE 12.12.07: This one must need some work as it’s still for sale!
This one especially jumped off the page when I saw it because my close friend Paul had a ‘62 for his first car. Needless to say, it was a great car to have exposure to as a 16 year old and we had many adventures together in that car!

Great body with strong 1275 motor, rebuilt transmission, new interior. 503-998-5208
This one looks to be in great, usable, unrestored condition. If it’s as good as it looks, someone is going to steal this one.

Portland Craigslist Ad for 1975 Ducati 860GT For Sale
If you woke up today and said, “I would really like to ride a 32 year old Italian motorcycle”. Here is your chance. I bought this bike about 5 years ago and rode it year round when I lived in San Diego. I moved to Bend 3 years ago and I rode the bike a little the first year. Then I did something crazy, I bought a 35 year old British bike. (1972 Norton Commando) So I have only ridden the bike once or twice in the last two years.
This bike has 23,871 original miles. Mostly original. Clean. This bike is not a beginner bike. A history of ridding older bikes and some mechanical knowledge is helpful.
The bike is located in Bend, Oregon.

I have no idea what these trade for, but for an older Duc cafe racer, this looks like a pretty good buy for a little over $4k.

Imported from Germany two years ago, this car looks incredible. Not to mention the very rare (and undoubtedly brutally expensive) Alpina aftermarket goods, like the head and individual throttle bodies for the mechanical injection.

Roadfly llisting for BMW 2002 Touring
The auction has 6 days left and is currently at $15k, reserve not met. The owner likens the touring to the 2002 Turbo and Cabriolet in terms of collectability. I think that is a bit of an overstatement, but considering it’s condition and rare aftermarket accessories, I suspect this will find an owner with a fat wallet. Any guesses on reserve? I’ll take a stab at $25k (but will require relisting to get that $22k sale bid
)
Update: Did not sell at $16k, reserve not met.
Update: Car is now listed on Roadfly with a $30k asking price. Not a typo. Image and link updated.

Autoblog posted this morning that city officials in Scottsdale weren’t making it very attractive to continue the auction in it’s current location and that Craig Jackson has been in talks with the Mayor and tourism council in Las Vegas.
Can you imagine how much crazier this event is going to get?! John Schnieder should hold on to the General til the end of the year and see if he can a real $10M bid!
Update 1.20.2008: Apparently the General Lee is only worth $450k.
