Considering the bidding is already at $24k, it may well be a real one. Even if it’s not, it shows as one and to the right buyer (class of 88) it might be a perfect fit regardless. The 3 piece AMG wheels, the AMG steering wheel, 6.0L upgrade motor, and other authentic bits are all extremely rare.

I know I’m waaay behind on the promised new postings, but these interesting BMW’s keep popping up!

This one is a gray market import, so it comes with the sexy slim bumpers and unique 2.3L six. It’s also very unique being a baur drop top. With only 85k miles and $7500, it looks like a blast.

UPDATE: Another 1985 Baur just popped up on Roadfly, and it’s even nicer! 3 piece BBS Rims, headlight wipers, Zender body kit, and under 40k miles! Apparently previously owned by an NFL player. A bit steep at $13k, but probably just fine for the right buyer.
