Oh hell ya, this is a great looking euro-import with the light weight bumpers and the superior headlamps and grill. Plus it’s been turbocharged by “Eurotech”. Looks like a fun old-school ride!

Hot! If my M3 was sold, I’d be all over this. Rothsport racing has all the credetials I need to accept that kind of mileage. The Blum Racing engine rebuild is also of note (no webpages for either company to link to!). The Porsche 964 is for certain a high school fantasy car for me, and I will own one someday. Not today though.
Thanks for the link Paul

Autoblog is reporting that this very rare 914 variant is expected to cross the $200k+ mark by the weekend! WOW! I knew these were rare and sought after, and probably an amazing drive, but that’s incredible. There’s a 914 underneath it all, come to your senses!!!

I stumbled across this accidentally, but it’s a great demonstration of the heel toe driving technique while flogging the hell out of an old Renault!

Another day, another super low mileage Ducati 900 SS/SP. 600 miles!! This one has been tricked out with every conceivable add-on, with reportedly over $38k spent.
So are all 900 SS/SP models under 1k miles?!

600 original miles. Nope, no typo:
#282 was bought from a man who rode it around his neighborhood for a summer and then never started it again.
And now the bad news:
I have never started the bike, because when the gentleman parked the bike, there was gas in the tank that gunked up its inside.
Old, rotten gas is a super PITA — but I think the unreal low miles and condition of this bike make the clean-up effort worth it.
eBay listing for 1995 Ducati 900 SS/SP. Buy it now for $12k, which is a pretty hefty sum. But the SS/SP is a modern classic and for a collector or true enthusiast of the model, it’s probably right on.

Check out Ducatitech.com for a wealth of information on the 900’s and Ducati’s in general.

Stopped by the Ferrari Challenge at PIR this past Sunday. Those 430 challenge cars are incredible! The line some of the more advanced drivers took through the Festival chicane was amazing, practically coasting through to the hairpin and then hammering the brakes to make the turn. Most mortals hammer the brakes before even reaching the chicane!
Naturally I had the digicam with me and found this 996 for sale in the parking area:

Car was in great shape in person and seems like a great deal!

While the looks are certainly unique, it’s no doubt that it’s one of a handful of baur’s in this country as a gray market vehicle. And it looks to be in real nice shape and the modifications list looks very well thought out. Mmmmm Mmmmm, Mikuni’s!

I’ll be very curious to see what this ends up going for, especially with the recent valuation of ’survivor’ cars that aren’t restored.
UPDATE: Car sold for $12,300 with 50 bids! Seems a touch on the high side considering the mileage isn’t verified, it’s not a tii, it’s been repainted… But perhaps this is a sign that 2002’s are infact finally going up in value.
